I'm thinking the longer I wait after june though the better. DDR4 Prices will drop and options will dramatically increase. I definitely don't want to adopt TOO early.
I have not tried FarCry 3, however, when going from 1055T @ 3.9 GHz to i7-3820 @ 4.5 GHz I would say that I did not feel
any difference. Sure the benchmark scores went approx 30% better and numbers improved elsewhere as well in some spots but the system feel was pretty much the same. So the upgrade will not knock your socks off most likely. Granted, I was at a bit higher resolution so I was always GPU bound (almost always, if not counting Dwarf Fortress which is not .. well .. graphically intense but lives and dies by single core CPU performance). My resolution is 5400x1920 (5x1 portrait eyefinity) and I was using just a single GFX card.
