Stick to the Sensei, or get the Sensei Raw?

Need advise on this, I am looking to buy a new Sensei to replace the old one (buttons worn out).

While I do not use any of the adjustments on the steelseries software - I set everything to the lowest possible, zero acceleration what not.

Essentially I don't need all the customization, except for the lift off distance, which I am very very particular about. Running at 7% on my old Sensei.

So my question is this: Given the LOD is not adjustable on the Raw, should I still get the Raw as I don't need any customization? Or should I get the more expensive Sensei just to be sure my LOD is perfect? Is the Raw's LOD managable?

Side note: As a reference, the Rival's LOD is way too high for me.

As far as I know, the LOD on the RAW should be fine. I'd get the RAW because it's cheaper and as you said, you don't need customization. I have both and prefered the RAW smile.gif

I like the regular Sensei. I can't stand to have mouse software installed on my PC, so having all of the options changeable on the mouse itself is a godsend. I also like the feeling of the regular Sensei in my hand over the Raw. The lost weight makes the Raw feel cheaper in a way. I never found the Sensei to be heavy even with all of the extra stuff.

The RAW's LOD is probably around the Rival's LOD from what I can remember when using a RAW that I promptly returned. You won't be happy. Stick with the vanilla Sensei.

On that note the Avior 7000's minimum LOD is actually very low, almost laser-mouse like.

I've tried the Avior's shape. Didn't quite like it.

Guess I'll go vanilla Sensei then. Thanks guys smile.gif

You could also buy my used Sensei off of me. Literally perfect condition other than the mouse feet that just have a couple scratches on them from use on a Corsair MM400. If you ever need to send it in to warranty I have the original receipt and you obviously know how to reach me right here on this forum. I bought it new from Amazon originally on 11/19/13. I priced it nice and cheap.

Jesus... Don't let my wife see that people actually sell used mice on Ebay. I'll not only never stop hearing about it, but I'll have my current collection gutted.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the Sensei RAW Na'Vi version got adjustable LOD. I prefer the weight of the RAW over vanilla Sensei.
