Windows 8.1 n Internet Explorer 11

Thread Starter
Is it just me or is Win8.1 and Internet Explorer 11 simply broken.

only reason for upgrading to Win8.1 is because of that 5% performance gain in BF4.

Win8.1 user interface is like design for a second grader. so much for power user interface. turn off uac and now not even able to view a photo nor play a song. also sometimes desktop texture will not display properly until minimize n maximize.
found a few work around (start is back, kill metro, etc) so will bear it out.

Internet Explorer 11 has trouble (1) playing flash media causing skipping, (2) randomly some of the text is a half display, and (3) a few other bugs.
updated win8.1, reset explorer, fresh win8.1 reinstall. no joy. (install firefox and all problems with ie11 disappears)

I've heard nothing but bad things about IE 11 in general. So, I recommend just using Firefox. After all, like you said, it has no problems...

Try to run IE 11 in safe mode. In command line type " iexplore -extoff " without the "". Flash will be disabled too but you can if the other problems insist.
