Asus maximus v extreme mPcie combo wi-fi card problems

hello ocnet members and mod staff hope im posting on wright forum


i bought my M5E awhile ago, didn't get the chance to buy all the parts due financial circumstances until now.

just waiting for more info on the gtx 800 series and Asus gtx 780 ti matrix platuntim to make mind up until than i thought il get the system ready.


im having problems with mPCIe Combo Card, i have full signal when i connect to the network and it ask to put the paswword in, which i do but wont connect.


i updated the bios to the latest, uninstalled ai suite II, uninstalled and re installed the the newest LAN and wifi drivers.

enabled and disabled the drivers i get nothing.


i was going to ring Asus tomorrow but i thought id ask here to see if if you guess could help or suggest any thing i missed that i should check.

Router details

ADSL FIBER

Router/Modem sky hub 2

40mb up 5mb down

Network Type - MER

Security Options- WPA2-PSK (AES)


contacted asus yday no reply an don rog forum

update

no answer from Asus support on from fourm so i decided to re install the mPcie combo card.

i took out the mother board to access the mPcie combo card so that i could take it out and re install it, while takin i t out the 2-in-1 RF Cable one of them come come out of the socket, dont know if was like that or not when installing for first time.

where i could buy replacement cable form from.

ive seen this will this do?

i would prefer to order from uk and also if any one i s selling the Asus maximums v extreme motherboard accessories or knows some one or know where to get the replacement cable pleases let me know.

can you get a pic of it? is there no way to repair it? if it's the antenna cable then it doesn't have to be spliced perfectly or anything, just make decent contact and it should work. if you think the cable issue is separate from the wifi connect issue then you might want to go ahead and RMA if possible.

i ve gone and RMA the board on Thursday , they received it on Friday lets see what happens, any way thankz alot for replying to the thread
