um prob a couple hundred. You can build a decent gaming machine in the 400-500 range easy. Even cheaper depending on parts you pick. What kind of budget would be be looking at to throw at it? Lets say you got $200 for the laptop. How much could you invest into a desktop from there?

$700 can build you a very good machine! Playing most games at high settings with good frame rates! Just built a friend a machine last year that is playing games just fine at 1080 for just under 700. So you will be in good shape with $700 for sure. What kind of games are you into?

Yeah battlefield is a power hungry game. Not to sure about titan fall but if it's anything like the call of duty graphics you have nothing to worry about. I will post a parts list on here for you to just take a look at as a guide, If you find better deals or hear that something may be better for the money thats great get that but this will just be suggestive that's all. Are you comfortable with building on your own? If not you should really give it a shot as it's not to hard at all. Most parts now-a-days are plug and play really.
