I have also changed the color scheme on my MSI Z77 Mpower to red and black from yellow and black. It was really hard to follow a yellow theme. I also added a motherboard cover that I will be adding lighting to. I left the last 2 slots covered because I will not be using them. Here is how it is coming together so far.

Firstly I made a cover with cardboard and fitted it to the MB, sort off a draft, before I finalized the layout for the acrylic. I used a mm ruler and just drew my measurements on the paper covering the acrylic sheets. I measured directly from the motherboard and then used a Jigsaw in combination with a rotozip to get the clean cuts. I used the rotozip to start some of the cuts but the jigsaw was best for most of them to get the straight lines.

Thinking about naming my build Classy Dread or Dread Power, What do you all think? I'm leaning towards Classy Dread. I upgraded a couple of items for the build so now I have some new extra parts.

1x Hydro Copper Waterblock for GTX780 Ti Classified 400-CU-G788-B1 $135
1x EVGA GTX 780 Ti Classified Backplate 100-BP-2888-B9 $15
1x XSPC Photon 170 Tube Glass Cylinder Reservoir / Pump Combo $130

If anyone is interested in them PM me.

Here is a sneak peak on my progress

Yeah man it was a lot of work too. I am also working on the panel on the side of the 360 rad in the same pattern. I want to finish it by tomorrow so I can paint both pieces. I wish there was a nice pre-cut stencil I could of used. Doing this by hand is very time consuming. But it will be very unique when done.

I just about finished my custom back-lit motherboard cover and interior panel. They were stenciled by first printing a circuit pattern onto label paper and carefully removed with my heatgun and xacto blade. That step took the longest with all the details in the pattern I liked.

Once that was done painting was next. 2 coats of white spray paint and then black on both sides for my pieces. With at least 30 min of drying time between coats this took up most of my Sunday.

After drying it was time to remove the remaining stencil. Here is where I wished I used a high temp paint. You have to be very careful applying heat to the label paper to remove it with the paint. Too hot and the paint starts to bubble and too cool and the label tears and leaves glue behind. I got the hand of of it in the end and love the results.

I will be wiring the LED's behind gaps I left behind both pieces when I get the sleeving later in the week. Here is how it turned out.

I added 2x 3.5" drive mounts today. I used a cube that came from an old computer. I measured and cut the mounts and attached them in the area behind the interior panel. The lower will hold my 2tb drive and I will mount my SSD in the top one. Or I can use both of them for my larger drives along with the 2 bay Orico PCI mount I got for my SSD.

To leave all my options open I made sure and added a wiring hole for the cables to reach the pci area hidden if I use the PCI mount.

While I was at it I also added all my cabling holes. It looks like a lot of holes in the pics but once the motherboard is in place you do not see them.

I decided to go with the XSPC Photon 170 Res/Pump combo originally for my reservoir. But after I got it and placed it in the case for measurements it was just small compared to everything else. So I upgraded it to the 270 version.

The only thing I did not like about it was the mount it came with. A wide bar that ran the length of the tube behind it. It can be mounted though without it by just removing it and screw directly to the two brackets of the Res.

That was what I was going to do but I would have been mounting it on acrylic and I don't think with the weight of this thing in addition to filling it with water would hold up in the long run.

I spotted an old power supply in my junk pile and found the dimensions of the case was almost perfect for a stand. It will need a little modding, but nothing that I can't do. The stand will eventually be painted black. I finished the day off by starting sleeving on all the exposed colored wiring of the case. Here are the results.
