Couple of questions for my future water cooling plan - Page 5

there are no all copper uni gpu blocks currently made. there are no copper bridges.
you only need airflow across those heatsinks on your vid card. you dont NEED a fan blowing on them.

as far as i know, there are only 3 uni gpu block makers: xspc raystorm, swiftech mcw-82 and ek uni.
dont forget primochill advanced lrt tubing, sized 3/8id and 5/8od in whatever coler you prefer.

Just curious. What do you have against plexi?

I'm getting ready to order a bunch of blocks with pkexi covers.
So enquiring minds want to know. biggrin.gif

They crack more than acetal? When you like tighten the fittings to much it just cracks, sooo went for a acetal. I know this because I use to make my own aquariums before and Plexi cracks alot when you install the fittings for the piping of your aquarium.

Mmmmmm.....you have a point here.
Especially since I am going with hard copper tubes, the plexi could be an issue.

Well thats base on aquarium builds but don't really know if it happens on gpu blocks too. But in my POV I rather avoid the ones I have already experienced xD

I don't think the plexi cracking would be an issue with soft tubing, unless you really thighten your fittings way too snug. Hand thightened should do it well enough. You just need to get a fit of the O ring against the component, nothing more.

But my concern is with my hard pipes. As you put in the tubes into the fittings, you kinda have to force the fitting sideways at times, which might crack the plexi....mmmmmm....food for thoughts.

I do like the idea of seeing the inners of my blocks without opening them
