I just like to make something clear as i think many might have misunderstood

No the Corsair RM is not the worst PSU ever made you can find far worse

Main problem with it is questionable choice of capacitors and overall mediocre performance then add its price which is higher then pretty much all the other units that are much better made and has better performance

So it all comes to do you buy into the RM hype and get yourself a mediocre unit or do you take your money elsewhere and get something better

Ok will look into something better smile.gif could i in theory buy corsair cable kit and pop off the end that goes in psu and replace with the new psus cable endings if i popped that one off as long as i check that cables will end up at right pins according to new psus output and motherbords input? Dont know if that made any sens at all tongue.gif

You would have to be sure that the cables from the other PSU is the same gauge and everything

I would just be lazy and buy some Bitfenix Alchemy Extensions and call it a day

Got a few of them in my PC now

Maybe i'll do that. But here is a link to psu's
http://www.inet.se/kategori/595/nataggregat?Sort=price-a
on the page i will buy my rig from. Any thing up to about 1100 swedish kr is affordable. Any there you would recommend that are fully modular?
Here is the updated rig that i will be getting minus psu http://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/6574044/rig
smile.gif will also be overclocking both gfx and cpu tongue.gif

Problem is there is pretty zero market for fully modular low wattage mid range units onlt two options there is the XFX XTR which is a rebranded Seasonic G and the Corsair RM

Fully modular mid range lower wattage models does not exist other then the RM and XTR

You are left with two options either buy something better which you cant or live with a semi modular

This one but i did read a review that said it was loud

Really to tell you the truth that site has piss poor selection i had a Cooler Master V700 in mind but they dont have that one

http://cdon.se/hemelektronik/cooler-master/cooler-master-v700-700w-atx-p23633363

You could ask inet.se about the V700 if you dont want to use any other shop

Cooler Master V700 is based on the same Seasonic KM3 platform as the Seasonic X and Corsair AX760 but is about 200-250 kr cheaper then the AX760

The v700 looks good and maybe in the price range if i skimp out on a few fans and use some i have at home to replace later. Thank you for all the help! Choosing psu is hard when there are so many and im not very good with all of the components in them and havent really had any thought about them before tongue.gif
