Tips for loading Team Fortress 2 maps faster

Thread Starter
I'm generally the 4th-5th in, in a server of 24-32.

Let's assume I wanted to become the first person in the game each time the server changes the map - what would you suggest? tongue.gif

Asrock H77M
Intel Core i5-3570K
16 GB DDR3-1600
AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (x64)

The game is installed on my SanDisk Ultra Plus SSD (C:\, where Windows is also installed - pagefile is on separate internal 7,200 HDD)

Get a Faster SSD/Raid some SSD's together.

Get a ton of ram and make a ram disk.

Though do you really need to be the first in?

Though TBH my I have TF2 on my HDD Raid and I tend to be in the top 10in on 32 player matches. Though some times it will take little longer then normal what can be annoying but doesn't happen often.

Probably would be better to have Games and OS on separate disk drives. Maybe buy a SSD for games?
