Is ASUS USA customer service still terrible? Debating RMA for my monitor.

The DVI port went out in my ASUS monitor. I can still use the VGA or HDMI port. I haven't decided if I should just cut my losses and use the other ports or if I should attempt to RMA the monitor. It has been a couple years since I've used ASUS RMA service. The last three times I did it was terrible and not worth the time or money I spent to end up with products that were still broken when I finally gave up and trashed them.

depends on whether or not they send you a new product as a replacement, I rma'd my graphics card and it was fantastic, but I rma'd my mobo and they only fixed one of its many problems

If things have not changed I'm sure they'll just repair my monitor, which I'm ok with as long as it works when I get it back. The last monitor I RMA'd to them 3 or 4 years ago they replaced the main board in it to fix a problem I didn't even have, and sent it back to me, even though I sent it in for tons of dead/stuck pixels, which remained after I received it back.

Personally, i would just switch over to the HDMI.

Or RMA the 24" and buy a new 27" and then sell off the 24" after it comes back.
