There is no reason to get your panties in a twist by stating the game is going to use 4GB of RAM. I welcome it if it's done right.

System Requirements ALWAYS take into consideration the OS (and for Windows 8, 2GB is the minimum)... You guys act like this is Photoshop which can use obscene amounts of RAM for scratch files/undo. We jump from ~2.5GB of RAM (that is the max I have really seen for a video game) to 4GB. A whopping 1500MB. Not to mention ALL the consoles have roughly 5GB~6GB reserved for the game, it is time to get used to this people.

Dx11 isn't just for those effects though - it includes a massive amount of optimization for performance vs doing the same thing on dx9. Honestly, i don't blame them for not going back and supporting dx9.

PS2 uses over 3GB, maybe 3.5GB at times, for system memory, and then another 1GB for VRAM i assume

I think it's time to see results from that much "required" memory. Ghosts looked just okay to my eyes but nothing that screamed 6gb.

I think they probably should have been more specific about the minimum videocard requirements, but other than that - the specs look like a PS4 equivalent PC.

Now, for some reason, seeing that 64-bit was never mentioned as "required", I have a feeling that it'll be a 32-bit exe. I also have yet to see any 'DX11' effects in any of the trailers.

So, while I'd like to believe this is because it's an amazing "next gen" title, I have a feeling it's just the fake "upped requirements" that Activision pulled with CoD.

If the minimum is indeed 6 GB of RAM, I think it's safe to say that 32 bit OS's will not be supported, which is good because it's about time that it dies out.

Also wouldn't a 32 bit exe only be limited to use 4 GB at the most anyway?
