That's the point of this laptop really, 1600 x 900 would be the second best looking resolution on it (other than native) and should be used for gaming if you want 60FPS on the latest games with mid-high settings.

never...

Thanks! do you think this is a good investment for a long haul? Because it seems like razer has updates to their products so often that you spend a **** load of money just to be completely upgraded 1 year later

Your going to be able to play a lot of games native at medium, so its more like 1080p for High/max. They demoed it running metro and bf4 running native at well over 30 in the medium settings range

It is one thing to be well over 30 fps, another to keep above 60 fps(and most metro/bf 4 player wouldn't accept any less than 60+). Plus at 1800p you don't have to run 2x MSAA(or more), when you get down to 900/1080 you might have to . I said 900 instead of 1080 because it is a 2:1 scale down of the native resolution therefore it might be the second best looking res on this screen other than native.

I disagree.. So long as im at over 30fps without any horrible dips im perfectly happy...

Sure having 60+ is nice, but yeah... Not always practical, And I dont like losing visual fidelity...

MP BF4 sure, I agree and would want 60+ but SP is fine, same with games like TR or AC. It will be plenty of power for native res and respectable settings.
