2.1 speaker system under $100

Thread Starter
I'm tired of using headphones all of the time for my PC, so I'm getting some speakers so I can use them for casual gaming sessions (like 20 minute Chivalry spurts, or long RTS sessions).

I want some recommendations for 2.1 speaker systems under $100.

I'm avoiding the Logitech systems (or any other brands) that have a 360 degree sound driver feature as I'm assuming it would annoy me.

The speaker system must be analog too.

Edit - I'm going to wait a few more weeks and get something in a higher price range.

Used Klipsch Promedia 2.1, check eBay.
Sometimes Bestbuy sells the Promedia 2.1 on sale for $99.

I've actually seen that recommended in many other threads on other forums.

Before you responded I actually decided to get either the Kilpsch's or this

Personally. I would still go for the Klipsch.
I think I paid about $90 for my used ProMedia 2.1.

Yup, I've decided to go with those.

I can manage $140 for a new system.

Thanks.

Good choice. My Klipsch Promedias gave out a few months ago but they lasted me (and I bought it used from a member here on OCN) a good 6-7 years.

Finally upgraded but they're awesome for the price thumb.gif

I'm fully confident in this choice

The Klipsch satellites do have fabric covers, correct ?

I agree with others get the ProMedias. I got them for my birthday in January. They still surprise me to this day. I love them.
