Steelseries Sensei Wireless Mouse Opinions? - Page 3

Or maybe he finds it more responsive then the 3310/3090 variants but doesn't know why...

... ya know, some pros notice these things we notice too, they just don't tend to "analyze" everything about it as much.

Or maybe it's even simpler and he just prefers the shape/coating.

Nope, he uses his Xai on cloth (QcK+) he might be using something different nowadays though due to the new sponsorship.

That acceleration is dependent on sensor implementation though.
Please stop posting that old graph (you didn't yet wink.gif) that tested one mouse on one surface for acceleration. It doesn't show how mouse X performs on pad Y.

Yep. He used Sensei for some time but switched back to Xai for coating. Same shape though obviously.

Not necessarily, the example above shows that different Games and playstyles favor different properties of a mouse and their tracking, recoil control and small adjustments generally dont involve fast movements as you can imagine.

I dont know about the properties of the G-Mat, but A9500/9800 mice worked rather nicely on my black icemat, regardless, the graph only shows an answer to a yes or no question, as you said you would have to test every mouse on every pad, and also every unit of that mouse.

Well it always felt like that for me, except much more exacerbated on cloth. Maybe 5-10% max acceleration on cloth, even with a Sensei.

This I agree with.

That would be "n0thing" from Cloud9 and that was back when he was in Complexity, now that he's in Cloud9 he uses the G302/G100s.

What's interesting is n0thing still uses a hard pad (G440).
