Are you happy with your EC2 Evo? I'm a low sens player looking to replace an old Krait.

I love my EC2 Evo although it may be small it fits my hand well. I palm the mouse (sometimes with curved fingertips to press the Huano switches. so hybrid grip? but mostly palm) and constantly lift up the mouse to do fast swipes. It uses a ADNS 3090 sensor, one of the best ones out there atm. Has low LOD, its like the perfect mouse. Some people complain about it having a bit of sensor lag? with pixel precise movement but It does not affect me if it does indeed exist. The sensor is a lot better than the Deathadder 2013. Ive used all the Deathaders and the 2013 one is the worse sensor wise.

I would definetly recommend zowie ec1/ec2 evo CL and I would buy a CL version too but I would have to ship it over and its not on sale atm :/

Also this is an ergonomic mouse compared to the ambidextrous krait, but its size is small also like the krait. If the zowie is indeed available I would buy one. Just know its dpi steps are limited, 450 / 1150 / 2300 and 450dpi works best at 500hz

Zowie EC2

Pros:
- Great sensor, one of the best!
- Light weight
- Huano switches (can be con if you don't like them)
- Low LOD
- Shape!

Cons:
- Pixel precise movement lags?
- Limited dpi steps (who cares 400/450 is all you need biggrin.gif)
- Availability

Yes you will be able to. The Steelseries Rival is a long mouse and the back of the mouse is big so it supports the palm nicely.

at OP I just bought a Steelseries Rival and the sensor is quite nice. I feel though that my Zowie is better at long range shots, but the Rival's sensor is really smooth, and accurate. I will still have to test it out more but it is quite a good mouse. I would definitely recommend it over the Deathadder 2013. As for zowie vs Rival, the rival has a newer sensor which feels smoother, but not necessarily more accurate for my low sensitivity play. I cannot make a proper judgment atm, need to test it more!

I honestly can't say that my aim has improved with the rival, maybe it got a bit worse. This is also due to the fact that the ec2 evo is basically 2x smaller, and 3x lighter (exaggerated a tiny bit). I can say that the Rival feels a lot better in my hands and its sensor is really smooth. I do feel like I have trouble aiming at far range though. The zowie ec2 is really great if you play with super low sensitivity and if you lift your mouse up a lot to turn. I feel the zowie's aim is more raw(good thing? for me atleast), and less smooth but I can really aim well with it. I would buy a zowie ec2 CL for sure if it goes on sale. I will most likely keep the rival because of its feel, lights, and it matches my setup tongue.gif

If only they would release the ec2 with the ability to change dpi, (or at least in better steps), and a better scroll wheel. It would be the perfect mouse for me.

I can't say which is better but I can tell you that I absolutely love my Deathadder. I like to palm my mouse so it fits very comfortably even though I have TINY hands. I have never used any razer software just plug it in and go. This beast has lasted me over 10,000 matches of starcraft 2 and many other hours of gaming other games and it still works just like the day I bought it.
