Help pick out a Korean Monitor

Thread Starter
I'll try to keep this short and sweet: I'm wanting to upgrade from my POS HP Glossy monitor I got since it's dying. I play games and I do web design/web development - The only game I currently play is League of Legends and play it competitively, so the overclocking ones take a bit on the priority list, but not a deal breaker. I have 2x GTX 680's that will be powering this baby and with all that being said, I'm looking for suggestions on what I can get.

1. I want only perfect pixel monitors (I don't mind paying the extra $50 or w/e it is for one)
2. If overclocking the monitor will benefit me, I'll go for it (It was night and day difference going to a 120hz TV) This isn't a requirement, but it's a preference if it's worth it.
3. I like aesthetics and build quality - The Catleaps/Crossovers look pretty good, but what other suggestions do you have? I'm not a very good handy man, lol.. well I am, but lazy wink.gif. I won't be mounting it I don't believe, so prefer one with a nice(r) stand.
4. Cheapest price as possible, hey I'm cheap!

Who and where should I buy it from (links please). I'm based out of Texas thumb.gif

Thanks guys cheers.gif

Just so you know, pixel perfect is mostly a marketing scam. The monitors come from exactly the same bin as the regular, cheaper ones, and the only difference on your end is if there are bad pixels, they give you your $30-50 back and tell you to suck it.

Buy a Qnix QX2710. Your 680s will have fun fighting for 120Hz.

I don't believe this from the amount of people stating that they ordered perfect pixel and got a perfect pixel (as in 0) but thanks for the advice smile.gif

Almost as many people that order the regular monitors get ones with 1 or 0 dead pixels as people that pay 15% more for the pixel perfect.

$50 is nothing to me on top of $300+ for the added security, some dealers tell you if you have 1 defective pixel, no hassle returns.

Anyways, a user is selling one as 'true perfect pixel' for $399 + $25 for shipping. It's guaranteed to do 120hz with 0 pixel defect. I thought about picking that one up, but I don't like how it's basically sold for a profit since none of t hem cost $400, even the perfect pixel - let alone 6months ago when the monitor was bought.

In a dilemma on it now though, I don't like the lottery that's about it

Picked it up from the user on here - I might be out a few dollars vs's a brand new one, but I rather not play the lottery as the lottery usually hates me rolleyes.gif I would be that guy who has nothing but issues and takes months to get the monitor. Time and effort vs a little extra $
