My Brand New MCP655 pump is starting to make a Buzzing Sound all of the sudden

I dont know what it is. I just got this pump brand new about 2 months ago. I have had it in my system running great with no issues.

all of the sudden i noticed yesterday and it continues constantly. It is making this buzzing electrical noise sound now. Its a constant Buzz, it does not come and go.

what do you guys think it is and should i be concerned

Its not so loud that i hear it when i close my case up. You have to put your ear on it to know its comming from the pump.

Is the water low? Are you using fluid additives? Do you have debris in your loop? How about copper or aluminum mixed together? Is the pump primed properly to remove all air bubbles? If it sounds like a grinding noise the impeller maybe damaged and not spinning correctly on the ceramic bearing.

Im going to record and post a video on this thread so you can hear exactly what it sounds like.

Sorry for not providing the information you requested earlier.

FYI The loop is one single loop just for the CPU. I am running two of these pumps in series with one reservoir thats completely full(to answer your question is the water low) and one XSPC 360 Rad. The loop is beautiful! and no air bubbles whatsoever. I use Bitspower Silver Compression fittings and my CPU waterblock is Cuplex kryos XT .925 silver edition for socket 2011.

I use Valvoline Racing Supercoolant for protection against corrosion in all my loops. Works wonders and always has.

So basically my loop is running beautifully. I have no debris in my loop. I use clear see through green 1/2"ID tubing and i would see if there was debris.

It does not sound like a grinding noise, it sounds more like an electric buzzing noise is what it is and you can only hear it when the PC case is open and your head is near the pump.

im gonna send a video on my next post here in a bit

It sounds like the impeller is scraping up on the side of the pump.

what pump top are you using? and yes it is a buzz not a scraping sound.
does the noise decrease in volume when the speed is lowered and does it go away if it does?

i am not using any pump top. I just installed it like it is.

Its does not decrease in volume when i reduce the speed. It just seems to be slower in frequency though. Like when I reduce the speed, the sound of the buzz will seem to output slower if that makes any sense.

I dont hear it at all and it does not seem to affect the performance of my pump in anyway so for now i am just ignoring it, but i am concerned that it might be early signs of failure. ITS BRAND SPANKING NEW TOO!

Anyways thanks for the help DO KEEP IT COMMING
