I want to upgrade my gpu and i was wondering, is it worth buying the R9 290X for €560 or buy the R9 290 for €410 ????

Definitely go for the R9 290, the performance difference isn't worth the cost difference thumb.gif a small overclock and it will match stock R9 290x perfomance.

An R9 290X is only supposed to be about 3% more powerful than an R9 290 with 256 more shaders and 16 more TMUs.

The performance difference is not worth the cost. The performance difference is much smaller than the last generation, where a 7970 was up to 10% more powerful than a 7950.

Totally not worth it to pay that much extra for X.
