I'm guessing its just a 'T' Model thing. The 600t is similar

Not sure how you guys are getting "flimsy" without ever actually seeing one in person. Very strange feedback.

We are getting flimsy from people back at CES showing how structurally un-sound the side panels are. The plexi/acrylic that was used was incredibly flimsy and flexed like no other.

My personal opinion though:

This is the first case from you guys where I've actually said you have some good design elements. But something really should be done about that front. You have great aesthetics on the side panels, but its utterly ruined by the front of the case. You could've gone with a stealth slim-line optical drive mount in maybe a vertical position, which would've satisfied people who wanted an optical drive, and kept a much cleaner front.

Its basically like you took Inwin quality design (not build quality) on the sides, and slapped a Cooler Master design on the front.

Basically TL;DR: You have a design that is beautiful, and working towards something great. But the front ruins it.

I wonder can the top cover be replaced with dust filter like in Obsidian series (a magnetic one) ?

Something like the front cover of my 330R would have probably worked well on this case... but I guess you wouldn't be able to see the glowing fans.

The case is steel mostly.

Windowed side panels are polycarbonate, with steel supports top and bottom, and steel hinges in the rear.

The only plastic parts are:
* the magnetic top fan cover
* the front bezel
* the hard drive trays
* the PSU dust filter

It looks flimsy. Every time the door opens, you can see the light bending on the glass and the whole enclosure shaking. Is it the end of the world? No, but isn't it naive to think that its solid? It's clearly flexing, even with very little human interaction.

Because the door is mostly polycarbonate, it's not as solid as a steel door. "Flimsy" isn't the word I'd use, but fine.

Of course, this was expected, which is one of the reasons we used the hinged mounting mechanism. So you wouldn't have to worry about aligning pegs on a door that had more flex. As it is the door is extremely heavy and solid, but has more flex than steel does.

Steel is great unless you want to look through it.

Great case, trying to pawn off my 750d to a friend so i can buy this. I prefer the 750d from the front but in my tiny room i have the case sideways so this will look a lot better. Loving the white but black will go with my build better, hard decisions.
