Which Ram is better?

Thread Starter
New to building and overclocking and I need to know which Ram would be best for overclocking on a 24/7 rig.

This one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233363

Or this one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233618

And could you please tell me why the one you choose is better so I can better understand.

Thanks

Why do you need so much? O.o

Wow 64GB O.o

Anyways what cooler are you using if its an aircooler i would go for lowprofile RAM since then you will be sure its compatible with the heatsink.

Both are "better", depends what you plan to use it all for.

This will be my first build, well second build but the first case mod build and I want to go EXTREME. I'm going to be using the below items, so those should give you an sampling of the products. The mods I'm planning however, will have to wait until I can find, make, or have built a custom SLI bridge.

2 Corsair 900D Cases
Rampage VI Extreme Motherboard
4960X CPU
2 EVGA NEX 1500 Classified PSUs
4 EXGA 780Ti Kingpin Edition GPUs

So, as you can see, I'm going all out on this rig so the RAM needs to be on par.

This will all be on 2 custom water loops for cooling.

Why don't you use LEPA 1600 PSU instead dual EVGA NEX 1500..
Beside for that spec, I suggest liquid cooling because it will produce tremendous quantity of heat

Well then the Dominator Platinum series

I'm using dual PSUs for 2 purposes.

1. To make sure I have enough power to OC those Kingpins as well as everything else.
2. Both PSUs are going to be visible, one on each side of the rig.

Personally I'd get the Vengeance Pro, the Dominator Platinum in my eyes are a 1600 kit that are factory OC'd to 2133 @ 1.65v, where as the Pros look like they are actually made to run at 2133. Since the VPs run at a lower voltage, they'll create less heat, and are likely have more legroom for stability, then you can focus on tightening the timings likely much further than the DPs are capable of.

Why are you spending this kind of money if it's your first build? Do you need the the performance for a professional application/use? (just interested)
