Bluray stutter on 52" Sharp Aquos.

Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with Bluray playback on my HTPC (in my sig rigs).

I'm outputting through HDMI to a 52" Sharp Aquos from 2007-ish.

I constantly get moments of lag/stutter, audio doesn't have an issue, only the video.

I use TotalMedia Theatre 6 to play, the HTPC has no issues when I connect it to my Samsung 27" B350h monitor.

I researched the Arcosft forums for the issue, and they said to turn off "Automatic Refresh Rate Switching". I tried it and still got the same issue.

Is it my TV? I'll try to go through the settings later, Last time I used my PS3 to watch blurays, it was fine, but I don't have it anymore.

Other users can give you "Reputation" points based on posts or activity.

"Unique" is how many different users gave you rep.

you need to open it threw file menue
under file, click open dvd/bd if it for some reason doesn't play... hold on , I also wat to make sure you don't need a codec pack like I have installed.
no.. don't need the codec pack.. I promise man it plays BD's,, I use it my self for them when I haven't yet ripped it to hard disk. u can either go to file/ open DVD/BD.. or you can assign the drive you want it to watch for a BD under "View / Options / Playback / DVD/OGM.. under open DVD?BD Behavior select always open the default location and manualy type in ur BD Drive root.. (mine is "H:\ for ex").
