get whatever is on sale! biggrin.gif

It probably isn't on sale still but I recently got the Witcher and the Witcher 2 and I must say, I see why it was highly regarded. I am playing the first one now and I really enjoy the story.

Go for it then, and also Metro: Last Light. You missed the sale though, a few days ago Infinite was like $7.49. tongue.gif

System Shock 2 is the spiritual predecessor to the Bioshock games, and it's better in pretty much every way, so I recommend that as well.

If you're into adventure games:

The Longest Journey
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
Syberia
The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav & Memoria
Deponia
Grim Fandango

All of them have great storylines

2 and 3 not so much I agree... 3 I really was into for the multiplayer but they effectively shut down the servers

If it's cheap I'd get it.

nuclear dawn would be amazing if it had more players...

killing floor maybe

Dayz
nether is pretty good and getting better

Did you even read the OP?

He said he likes good stories and you list all MP only games..

I swear whenever these types of threads pop up people just come in and post whatever the hell they want, as if they've been WAITING to share their opinion on so and so. Read the OP.

Do not grab the first Dark Souls. It is okay but a real pain to play on a PC, wait for 2.

Bioshock Infinite is a great choice, also I liked Borderlands 2 for the story, was just fun.

Not sure what you like, but here's what I have:

Borderlands 1 & 2
Bioshock Infinite or Collection
Sleeping Dogs
GTAIV
Mafia 2
Assassin's Creed Black Flag
Torchlight
Batman Arkham Origins
Civilization 5
Hitman Absolution
Mass Effect Collection

And others I forget.

Look me up at UnderscoreHero
