Nothing comes close to the space for the price that I am aware of. But there could be some options out there somewhere.

Very excited about this actually.

I will say though that even with verizon fios 35Mbps upload speed dropbox with bandwidth speed limit unchecked was still pretty slow at uploading, figure they cap it on their end. Im hoping google drive is different, I normally only upload docks to drive but that may change now. Although now im back on time warner with a 100/6Mbps connection.

It was over a year ago but on dropbox it took I think nearly 2 hours to upload a 3GB win7 iso with fios.

I can't speak for 35Mbps but I can upload at 10 (speedtest shows closer to 12) with drive.

As awesome as this is, I'll never be able to use Google Drive as their current privacy policy stands. From what I understand, they pretty much own everything you upload. I use my Dropbox account for primarily backing up music I've composed. That, plus Dropbox doesn't limit your file size. I don't often need to upload a file bigger than 10GB, but still.

I will just post this here so everyone stops complaining tongue.gif. I am also very sad for that other 11% of the USA.

The free plan is plenty for me, but more for cheaper is always good when it comes to storage space.

Google just upgraded the file size also. You can now upload a file up to 1TB in size.

How did you actually verify your upload speed to google drive? I havent seen a section that reports the upload. I know dropbox showed it. Im curious, thanks
