Need Some Help With My Loop, Can't Get Water Through Pump?

Hey everyone so I just set up my loop, just as it is in the picture. I plugged it all up and when I plugged in the pump, I just got the high pitched whine like it's full of air and not getting water. It seems like it isn't getting water to me. My only guess is the reservoir up top but I don't know. Looking for any and all suggestions as to where I need to go from here, first build so this is the part I'm really unsure on.

Thanks!

Also, GPU's are being added in soon, just waiting on the blocks to get here but wanted to go ahead and at least try this out. I'm not THAT overkill haha.

I mean have you checked if the reservoir is filled with water? Keep pouring it in until it actually starts to fill... Don't run that pump dry it destroys it... Damn quickly too, I've heard...

I mean yeah it's filled, I think it's the length of the loop causing issues, I think I'm going to have to fill the other parts before running it again, which is going to be a giant pain. It's only ran without for a total of about five seconds now because I recognized it immediately thank god haha.

'Dartulius' you might need to lay the case on it's back and fill both rads with liquid then stand it up and continue filling the res.

I use one of these and a barb fitting with some extra tubing attached on mine, seems to help with bleeding my GPU's also thumb.gif

Yeah I don't know why I didn't think of just tipping it on it's side, I'll do that today and report back. Unfortunately I won't get to until later tonight, long shift today. And I have the same thing going, a fitting hooked to a small piece of hose going into the fill port. Thanks for the tip, I feel dumb for not already doing that haha...

Just before you put more water in it, double check your "in and out" ports correctly first.

Now when I go to do this, would it be good to fill the rad on the bottom, then turn the case over, flll the rad on the top, and then move it around from all angles a few times to remove any air pockets? Because that was pretty much my plan.
