OK...where are all the large mice at?!

OMG! After about 10 mice I STILL can't find one as large/comfortable as my Microsoft X8.

Does ANYONE know a GOOD and LARGE mouse? I've tried everything from the DeathAdder to a Steel Series Sensei to a Logitech G500 and G700 to a R.A.T. 7 and none of them are what I would consider large enough (I'm a size queen!biggrin.gif).

To me the X8 was the perfect size...especially on the rear end where my palm would rest. It was just high enough to really keep my wrist off the table and just felt RIGHT.

It seems like every-single-freakin-mouse-out-there is made ONLY for those with "claw" grip and no one makes palm mice anymore. Hell, even if it's made for palming it would appear that the designer made it for themselves and their freakishly small hands. I mean, I don't have giant hands or anything like that but by god I'll be damned if I can't find an acceptable sized mouse.

So, please, anyone, give me some recommendations. HEIGHT and WIDTH and the most important aspects!

EDIT:

The length of my hand from mid point of my palm and wrist to the tip of my longest finger (middle) is 7 1/2 inches. So not at all MASSIVE (not some NBA player here). Like I said...height and width...most mice are plenty long enough.

Here is a picture of the MS Sidewinder X8:

You can see that the rear of the mouse is lifted a lot higher towards the rear instead of in the middle of the mouse like 99.999% of mice out there.

Here's my G700S...see the difference?

Mionix Naos 7000, Roccat Kone XTD, Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. MAYBE steelseries Rival if you can accept the narrow width in the centre (it has a large rear though). Most of those mice have an apex towards the middle though, except for the rival which has the apex towards the back like you prefer. They're all the largest mice available though.

Too sloped in the rear.

Good luck finding one that suits you. It looks like you want a mouse that feels right from the beginning, but using a new mouse with even a slightly different shape always takes some getting used to.

For what you want, I'd suggest the Steelseries Rival. It's long and arched at the back like the Sidewinder, and it's one of the mice that best keeps the wrist off the table like you want.

If by the OP saying "large" he means "long" that's perfect, the Rival gets my vote here as well then.

*Put on flame suit*

I've got an Ouroboros and it's pretty big. Fairly large and it can get pretty long, too.
