I have been reading a lot on these architecture, especially on Tesla GPUs on how they are layed out.
I have several questions i need to clear up
Here is the link:
First question is what is a SMX or SM, i know they are like a group of cores working together as a unit, like an ALU in a GPU, but i am not sure, can someone clear it up for me?
Second question is what is a Wrap Scheduler and what does it do?
Third question is what is TLP and ILP?
Fourth question is what is actually a FP64/FP32 core? Is it just cores for floating point calculations?
Final question what is actually a shader unit and what is a unified and not unified shader?
