2 Geforce GTX 780m 4go SLI vs 8go SLI, huge difference?

Hi,
I'd really like to get myself an Alienware M18x, and i found this for 4 grand:

Intel® Core™ i7-4800MQ (6MB Cache, 3.7GHz w/ Turbo Boost)
16GB DDR3L Dual Channel 1600MHz
Windows® 8 (64-bit)
Ecran 18,4’’ (467mm) WLED FULL HD (1080p)
2 nVidia® GeForce® GTX 780M w/ 4GB GDDR5 – nVidia SLI® enabled
64GB mSATA SSD + HDD 750GB / 7200rpm

Here is the link (French site):
http://www.grosbill.com/4-alienware_m18x_noir_-185962-univers_informatique-univers_informatique#0

So i have a question concerning this model:

Usually these days, GTX 780m have 4Go memory each, and not 2. Considering the max resolution on that computer's screen is 1080p, would there be a huge difference in performance between 2 GTX 780m SLI with a total of 8Go memory VS 2 GTX 780m SLI with only a total of 4Go memory?

Actually, i have a couple more questions:

Would i have a use for 32GB DDR3 instead of 16 if we take into account that i'll be playing Crysis 3, Witcher 3, other very demanding games and do a lot of Photoshop? Of course, concerning those 2 games, i'd like to have them maxed out (with the exception of AA maybe, i never enable it) with at least more than 40 fps.

The SSD size is quite small: only 64GB. With Windows 8 installed on it, how much space left would i have?

In general, is there another slot on these rigs to stick another SSD?

Thanks for your answers!

You may get a bit of hate for wanting an Alienware but I have one and it's worth the price for the build quality alone. That aside, you won't need more than 2GB per card. Also, 2GB per card does not = 4GB total because it replicates what is on each card. Thus 2GB X2 still equals 2GB just like 4GB X2 will still equal 4GB. You also won't need more than 16GB total system ram. 32GB is just crazy on a laptop or even most desktops.

As for the SSD, you WILL need more than 64GB. I'd say 256GB at least. I put a 128GB in mine and its enough for 2 games plus the OS but not much more. These laptops are EXTREMELY easy to install more hardware into so buy it your self and save some coin. Literally 1 screw takes off the bottom.

Sorry in advance if what i say kind of sounds idiotic, but i'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to hardware stuff.
So, actually, 2BG for 2 cards in SLI **sounds** even worse than what i thought!
I'm one of these guys who tend to think that bigger numbers are better, so it would only make sense for me that a 4Go memory card is better than a 2Go one.

Why do say that no more than 2Go would be needed? I mean, for the games i want to play, isn't that kind of low?

Also, on that site i was checking, when they state: "2 nVidia® GeForce® GTX 780M w/ 4GB GDDR5 – nVidia SLI® enabled", according to what you say, it's a deliberate lie, isn't it? Since you claim that the 2 cards memory don't add up... They should put 2BG instead, no?
Is that only pure marketing strategy?

Up.
I really need an explanation about all this.
