today I returned my corsair h100i to get a corsair h110 280mm water cooler . my case is the thermaltake overseer rx-1 full tower it has mounting points on the top of the case for x2 200mm fans one 200mm fan is preinstalled and if you want you can mount x2 120mm fans or x2 140mm fans . because of this I thought it would support a 280mm radiator with no problem . man was I wrong I spent over 2 hours trying to squeeze the corsair h110 in the case with no luck I wound up returning the corsair h110 and getting another corsair h100i . case manufacturers should really post on there websites what size radiators can fit in there cases

Sometimes ya got to learn the hard way. I did just yesterday when I got my new Fractal Design Arc Mini (non-R2 but I paid $40 shipped brand-new so...meh...) which has two 140mm mounts on top...needless to say I had to bust out the Dremel to get my 280mm radiator to fit.

So yeah...I always tell people that just because it supports the FANS doesn't mean it can support the extra width and length of a RADIATOR. People don't realize that fan size doesn't = radiator size.

Either way, good heads up for those that might get this case.

We should probably start a thread or something that describes what cases can hold what based on ones personal findings.

Like for my new case I can say that 240mm radiator fits up top but a 280mm won't (without modifications), NO radiators can be front mounted despite the removable hard drive cages and the dual 120mm fans, and a 120mm single radiator can comfortably fit on the bottom 120mm space.
