sugo(i) 5 build

I just got my p8z77-i and my 3570k but I'm still going around the internet in search for answers.
I plan on buying the sg05 case but as for coolers, I'm debating between the H60 or the H80i. They're roughly the same in price because I would need to buy an extra fan (preferably the twin SP120 pack) but my question is, in a case so compact, which would be a better option?
Also, concerning the H80i, I run the push/pull set up will the second fan press against the 20pin power connector and bend the ram? I saw a picture of this causing me to worry.
All replies are appreciated smile.gif

I can't be sure now as i no longer own the case. But i used to run a h60 with just one fan and it's already a tight squeeze. Plus you will have to forgo the slim optical drive, hdd and ssd mounting kit. With that said, it's still pretty easy to find place to mount your hdd and ssd. In my opinion, i will suggest going with the h60. Hope it helps. Cheers

Thanks for the Reply!!
I am aware I will be giving up my optical drive, and I'm 100% for sure fine with it. As for the drives, I'm getting the momentus XT and mounting it on the side of the case like I've seen a ton of people do so that's not an issue either!
When you say tight squeeze, what do you mean? Is it hard to work with or do you literally mean the space is very limited (with couple cm of space to spare)?
With the h60, what kind of temps were you getting? Also was it Overclocked?

I've only seen 1 person fit a H80 in the SG05. (probably the same as the one you saw). Unless the 12pin connector is parallel to the front of the case, there's a very slim chance it'll fit. It could fit if you buy slim fans.
I'm running push/pull with the H60 and its a already a tight fit.

That's a tight fit? Well then haha
I'm fine with running H60 but I'm a bit worries about temps. What kind of processor are you running, is it overclocked, and how's the temp??
Thanks in ADVANCE!

Its a stock 2500K in a 25ºC+ room running f@h and the temps are at around 45º-50ºC.

If both price are similar, then go for the h80i, its a better cooler. Running push only on the h80i would probably cool better than the h60.

I have an H60 PP, and I've seen an H80 as well, not sure about problems with your specific motherboard though.

I remember seeing a build someone made quite some time ago with an H70 with one huge fan. Will something like that or a H80i with a huge fan (somewhere between 30-40mm) be better than a push/pull H60??
If so, then I'll go for that kind of build smile.gif

If I could find the picture then I'll post it. But in the picture, it's the same type of mobo as the one I got (power connector followed by the ram).
Would removing the fan filter on the front of the case give me a few more mm of space??

The filter is on the outside, won't mean anything for internal space
