What is "too far?" is 100FT not enough? if not you can get +100FT cables too

http://www.amazon.com/Cmple-Ethernet-Cable-CAT6-30-48/dp/B000QZ0036/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1394954269&sr=8-3&keywords=cat+6+ethernet+cable

this is a 100FT

and heres a 1000FT

If you want to go wireless get a router and what do you do on the internet? and what is your budget?

you want cat 6

cat6 - it has fewer errors so it means less packets will be lost during transmission of data
where as cat5e is its predecessor - where it has a higher loss rate, but honestly its either or between those 2
