i5 or i7 - Page 18

I would hardly call WOW a resource demanding game it could run on a toaster basically sure it takes up like 90gigs of hard drive space but the game itself isnt all that demanding ffxiv maybe a little more demanding i havent played that smile.gif

I thought people around here preferred 120fps to 20fps?

Personally I could car4e less what the frame rate is if the game play is smooth and enjoyable.

That's why i'm not using your opinion as a basis for how well something runs

Can you tell me a single criteria that is more important than smooth, stable and fun game play?

Hence CPU upgrade if you want better. If you're not satisfied with lower FPS, don't get opinions from people who are, IMO

My advice is do not let others determine what is best for you. If you game play is great for you then the frame rate you have is meaningless. If you feel the game is bogged down then an upgrade should be done. NO ONE else can tell you what is right for you on this, only you can decide that.

So to get a better fps like in that screenshot, i would need the i5 or an i7?
i5 runs WoW better than 8350, yes. I'm not sure the exact margins but given WoW's low threaded nature it's probably significant

your 290 is probably laughing at game meanwhile
