First ITX build, portable 1440p PARVUM *6/4/14 update*

It's time to build a small - ish pc, and this will be my first itx build. I've come to the conclusion that all my previous larger pc's were just an eye sore on my desk and what's the point when I can cram everything I need into a smaller for factor and make it more portable and adorable thumb.gif

Ordered and on the way.

* Intel i5 4670k (arrived)
* Asus maximus impact z87 itx (arrived)
* Corsair vengeance pro 8gb 2133mhz red
* Samsung evo 250gb ssd (arrived)
* Evga gtx 780 dual bios acx
* Silverstone 450w gold psu (will upgrade to the upcoming 600w sfx)
* Corsair h80i cpu cooler (arrived)
* Evga gtx 780 backplate
* Bitfenix red/black 24 pin sleeved extension
* Bitfenix red/black 8 pin eps sleeved extension
* Bitfenix red/black 8 pin vga sleeved extension
* Bitfenix red/black 8 pin vga sleeved extension
* Bitfenix red internal usb sleeved extension
* Phobya 120x120 shroud plexi
* Phobya 30 cm flexible rgb led light strip
* Phobya rgb led controller with remote
* Xspc 120x120 gaskets X 3
* Xspc twin 5 mm white led X 2
* Phobya NB - E loop 1600 rpm red fan X 2
* Noiseblocker NB - black silent pro 80mm
* Asus 27" 1440p pb278q (arrived)
* Microsoft Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
* Ducky shine 3 cherry mx brown (arrived)

Already have a razer naga epic but looking for something new if anyone has any input for the better mouse I just can't seem to find one I like.

Some might be thinking/ noticed what about the case. Well that's a surprise unless a sff junkie can piece the pieces together before it arrives.

Pics will be up when all of it arrives and the build commences. Maybe even some videos since the miss's got me a go pro and I have still yet to even open it.tongue.gif

Not a bad guess, but no luck.tongue.gif

This was one of the cases I was considering but it's availability to find one and get it shipped to australia is just too much.

fyi, there is going to be a second wave of production for M1 (i'm not sure you can/wait till then though).
post #5 of 67
does the case require a SFX psu or did you chose it on your own?

Yeah I am aware of this, I'll most likely purchase one and keep it for another build. But I cannot find out what dates it will be available.

is it the raven case?

no that wouldn't make any sense.... the fact that you are getting bitfenix's cables makes me assume that there will be a window on the case. i cant think of any cases that require a SFX PSU that have a window.... well other then the compact splash. but there isent enough room in that case for those extensions anyways. haha

SG05 maybe?
