90 day forcast for Nvidia cards

Thread Starter
Evga has a 90 day trade up program and I'm willing to postpone my 780ti purchase to be in upgrade window
April 1 would give me to the end of June
Any release dates around for a better gpu
Thx

As far as new card releases go, you've potentially got a GTX 790 or a GTX 860 coming in the first half of this year on the NV side. In terms of red team, there's a chance that this rumoured 295X2 will release. Other than that, I've only heard about more rebranding from AMD (7950 rebrand is coming for sure).

A 2x290x card and maybe a 790gtx and little maxwell after mid2014

295 x2 or whatever from AMD that has a hybrid cooler is on its way.

From the green team it depends on if nVidia is going with 28 or 20 nm.

28 nm full lineup Maxwell could drop pretty quick as its a mature process.

If nVidia is going to 20nm for bigger die Maxwell it would be Q3 at the earliest I think.

Quoted for truth. Purportedly a 790 is coming but I'm skeptical unless maxwell isn't coming until mid summer.

AMD is teasing the review sites with the new 295x2 or whatever it's going to be called, so that should be coming soon. The 790 will likely follow right on its heels, Nvidia likes to kick AMD in the nuts whenever they try to release something new.
