MSI Z87 GD65 ISSUE

Thread Starter
Ok so I have a serious issue with this motherboard, I have owned this mobo for at least two weeks now and all of a sudden my wireless adapter started going sparatic and would go on and off, my phone storage would go on and off, and when I did a restart a high pitched squealing noise would emit from the computer. The only way it would subside is a full shutdown. The one variable that changed today is I downloaded Dead Space 2 and started to playing it. While playing said game the sound would suddenly get so low I would have to turn the volume way up to hear anything. The mouse would go sparatic and would constantly change sensitivity, all of this happening along with the adapter and squealing sound of course.

What is going on? Should I RMA?

I see in your signature you have your CPU overclocked. Does this happen at stock or only in overclocked configuration. Does them emory pass memtest86+? Does the hard drive pass a full Seatools sector scan? Have you tried flashing to the latest motherboard bios?

All the problems you talk about (except the squealing sound) could just be software issues, you could try with another install/OS if you wanted to rule that possibility out.

I have no idea about the squealing sound as I've never experienced that kind of issues personally but I'm guessing it is coil whine, are you sure it's comming from the motherboard ?

Have you tried removing the wireless adapter to see if the problem still persists?
