[YT] Super Mario 64 HD Fan Remake Announced! (VIDEO) - Page 5

The levels were designed with simple polygons, they're gonna look like crap in "HD" with all these fancy textures and lighting effects. Just look at HD texture packs for any old game, they look like poo, as their art style was achieved with limitations in mind.

Well, is this going to be released as a complete "remake" with all the levels replicated?

I agree about the textures ,but the thing was that awesome joystick ,& the way it controlled the gameplay. Still one of my favorite controllers ever.

As did I!

It really IS hard to imagine that SM64 is that old. I remember begging my parents to let me rent an N64 and SM64 from the local video store. Finally they caved in and I seem to remember getting every last penny's worth out of that rental smile.gif
