I purchased to H100i and the fans are unbareable at +1500 rpm. My question is which fan is a good choice to switch out from the stock ones? i was thinking of noctua but i also want to keep in mind that i want corsair link to still somewhat work with the fans.

Get the Corsair SP 120s. Noctuas are the ugliest fans you could possibly buy. Not to mention they can be expensive. Stick with Corsair wink.gif if you get the quiet editions you will never even hear them.

I am also looking for a square design not a round one because try fitting a circular fan on a square radiator

I like the SP120s .... for the money you can't beat their performance.

The sp 120 come in 2 flavors, performance and quiet editions. They sell the fans in a pair on amazon for a good price! Just note the performance ones are great but loud, they should've branded the loud edition/quiet edition haha. They are 3pin and there is a pwm version that's more expensive.

The SP120P comes with 3 pin resistors to make them spin slower.

But the stock fans on a h100i are the same design as the sp120 just without the color ring and rubber mounts, if I'm not mistaken, and are pretty decent, so adding another pair instead of getting 4 fans is viable smile.gif

Edit: if the fans are unbearable, try sp120 replace them with sp120 quiet editions! I think the stock h100i is the same as the performance one.
