Yea they took my money and I enjoyed the game both on PC and playstation 3 what's your point? Sounds like you're really grasping at straws especially with the "They didn't even compensate the fixer". That's like saying bethesda should have compensated modders for fixing their crappy dialogue and crappy textures in skyrim.
You're the one grasping at straws here bud. You're comparing standard quality textures and standard quality dialogue to a broken game. That's like comparing a brand new Toyota Camry to a 10 year old Dodge 1500 that's spewing out smoke. No offense to Dodge 1500 fans.
Also the standard price for AAA PC games is $50. That combined with the fact that you could get Dark Souls for less than $50 on consoles when it was released on PC means that your $60 argument holds no weight.
The fact that people so willingly support and buy games from bad developers/publishers means that they will continue their bad practices. If their sales dried up because of their horrendous quality they would have no choice but to supply an acceptable product. From Software continues to dish out mediocre quality products to this day.

Lazy devs need to be called out as well as their marketing gimmicks. I will never understand why customers want to protect this behavior.
Probably buyer's remorse. They want to feel like they didn't get ripped off so they'll defend their purchase.Edited by SchmoSalt - 3/18/14 at 11:42am
