Yea they admitted that they didn't take that much time with it. You guys are referring to it as broken. I ask what exactly is wrong with it for you to consider it broken. You reply with an article stating M+KB and resolution. The game is still playable even with those slight problems. I reply with give me more problems and yet you have none besides replying with " Developer states the obvious". You still have yet to actually prove the other problems to make this game broken.

I haven't tried dsmfix, is the keyboard comfortable for this game?

Playable and broken are not mutually exclusive or rather they are both subjective. You may say the game is playable in those conditions but then someone else will say it is not. Broken may mean something can't operate properly but that doesn't limit it to one specific function in regards to playability.

I mean, why did you even use/install those third party fixes?... wasn't the game playable without them? tongue.gif

For instance, I've had to RMA graphics cards before because of artifacting or overheating at stock clocks (represents the issues I mentioned with the game).

A customer fix would be to lower the clocks. I did that and it helped. (represents the third party fixes)

Was it still useable in that condition? Yes. (represents your thoughts on playability and what is broken)

But the point is I shouldn't have to and I shouldn't be having those issues. It is a legitimate reason to have a complaint and I'm sure there are plenty of other examples out there. (represents the big picture and what you're missing)

With DSMfix I actually find a KB+M MORE enjoyable.

Enable smoothing, crank up your mouse DPI, and use your scroll wheel to lock on to targets. Works awesome....

I tried both, and I prefer KB+M

The same reason people download textures packs, to further enjoy the experience. Also your example of your GPU problem is terrible. You had a manufacture defect which couldn't be fixed regardless unless you RMA'd it. The Dsfix actually fixes the problem unlike downclocking your card which basically just masked the problem. Without the DSfix it would have been the same as just playing on the ps3.

Oh no, now why'd you go and do that for? Those are but minor problems. Certainly would hardly affect the enjoyability of the game....(sarcasm)

The pc game version issues are developer defects that should warrant a refund and in a lot of cases it has. Unfortunately, it is tougher to return digital media. Again, you're missing the point by citing third party fixes for having to fix anything. The point is we shouldn't have to.

....and by even suggesting "fix," is that not indicative of a broken product?

Rage had low quality textures which was fixed with simple edits to the ini file. Was the game unplayable and broken before the fix? No.

Batman: Arkham Origins had a bug where you couldn't get into a tower. This was bypassed by glitching. Is the game considered broken? No.

Skyrim had many bugs on release, did that mean it was broken? No.

Yes it was broken because the customer had to fix those issues. I am willing to be lenient on some minor bugs...bugs are expected even after long game delays to make sure the game is polished. But when a game is rushed, you get performance issues and enjoyability goes down the crapper.
