Duh? Since when was it the job of the game dev team to spout the obvious common sense that they're going to be showing off their product in the best possible light?
Here is a note to take away from this, and to lead you to glory in the rest of all your life's doings: Legacy hardware will have legacy graphics and legacy performance. If you want things to look the best possible, and perform the best possible, you need to have the latest hardware. There are instances where you can use older hardware on a brand new game and still get optimal graphics, but those examples are normally few and usually don't relate to games that are designing around good looking graphics.
Hopefully this campaign, like every other campaign, ends up being ignored after a few days as the waste of time it is.
