run 3DMark11.

@Wit, don't feel we are after you. just want to help you get to the bottom of this. We do share the same results in C2 and BI using this driver. btw, i have 2 HDDs in my rig. one has 13.11 and the other 14.3.wink.gif

To Sugarhell:

True but guys are claiming that the problem is not visible with 13.12 WHQL.

Edit:
To Witwicky:
My system passed about 20 hours of linx torture, butany web with Adobe Flash, PC suddenly powered off. Every browser, but only when using Adobe Flash

I was sure that its related to SW, but when I re-configured voltages again, it stopped to crash on Flash...

Also changing CAS latencies on system may change overall game smoothness, regardless if system is stable. Some settings are simply "more smooth" than others. Also the reason why I stop using my Xeon X3360 and ended up with Phenom II x6 1090. Much better memory controller.

i just switched back to 13.11 but i remember playing BF4 using 14.2 with DX and had no issue. i may have to switch back to 14.3 and test DX.

Then go back to WHQL. Beta changes are mostly on the dlls and how they communicate with the os and the hardware. If the new drivers cant communicate correctly with your system you get bugs.

For example for mantle i changed completely my cpu oc. With dx couldnt do 5ghz no matter what and now i can do it on mantle with lower volts and llc

tldr sometimes its not just the driver, sometimes they push harder with the pipeline optimizations so some systems on the edge have problems

I know, no problem man wink.gif And yes, in some games we have the same issues, so it's definitely driver fault.

This. And about stability, it's super stable rig - 3770k - z68 - 2x4gb 1600, but ofc i tried also stock settings. And i didn't have even single WHEA Error in Event Log with this machine. Believe me, It's stable as stone.

Of course, i will. But i reporting here issues, just to make sure that the problem will be fixed in the next release WHQL. I am not a troll, but AMD user for years who want help improve next drivers. I devote my free time to help diagnose issues. I even recorded a video with stutter and send it to Warsam71.

respect for you guys ;-)

@Wit, i don't see any issue with your card nor your system. the only thing i can recommend if you haven't done so is to put your Virtual memory to auto. not sure if it will help since you are using Win8.

edit: oh, yah, have you tried to repair BF4?

I still have to purchase Thief to see how Mantle really works vs DX. Can you make some screenshots of CPU utilization with DX and Mantle? if its true that mantle make less overhead it can also mean lower stress on L3 cache as well.

I will do tomorrow a comparison

I told you, it's super stable beast. This machine dont even heard about BSOD, freeze, crash or WHEA errors biggrin.gif

Let's leave BF4 alone, maybe this was just server lag..If yes, then sorry for false report. But let them fix stuttering in other games, i really want use Mantle drivers and don't be forced switching back to 13.12 when i want play Bioshock, Mass Effect, Crysis 2, Sleeping Dogs. Most of them are AMD Gaming Evolved, and they working flawless with 13.12 but not with 13.30 and 14.x

Anyway problem was already noticed by Warsam71 and reported to his team. Now let's just cross fingers and wait for next release.

WHy do you even use bf4 with dx? Mantle with framepacingmethod 1 is the best
