Anybody else have instant BSOD with 2x R9 290 and BF4 with Mantle? Using Cat 14.3?

Used DDU when uninstalling 13.12 of course.

Well, finally tried Mantle with BF4 and this driver. Stuttering still persists. I'll await another driver and see if that works. I haven't had any Mantle driver not give me stuttering/FPS drops for BF4.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try it later tonight or tomorrow and you will get the +Rep if it works. Also, that dropbox link you posted does not work.

Since this is also Thief Mantle thread:

Thief Benchmark, everything maxed out, 1920x1080.
Phenom II x6 1090 @ 3600Mhz
Amd HD 7970 oc @ 1000/1375Mhz (Gigabyte GV-797oc Rev 2.1)
Adata XPG 2.0 @ 1600mhz 7-7-7-18 CR1 4x 2gb
Win 7 x64 Ult, fully patched
Catalyst 14.3.v1

32bit executable (no Mantle)
CPU utilization on 47 percent or less.
GPU utilization: did not measured
FPS 45

64bit executable (no Mantle)
CPU utilization on 57 percent
GPU utilization on 85 percent
FPS 47

64bit executable with Mantle
CPU utillization on 70 percent.
GPU utilization on 98 percent
FPS 63

Edit:
The game runs smooth "out of box". No flickering or texture corruption. Only visible issue is typical "Z-Fighting" in benchmark.

Engine has:
- 32bit and 64bit executable - Support for more than 2gb of ram per instance
- Optimized Multithreading - every CPU core is utilized on about same level, support up to 8 render threads.
- Triple Buffering
- DirectX and Mantle of course

If somebody claimed that Mantle is responsible for texture issues in BF4 - no. Thief looks exactly same regardless of used API.

Been a long journey:
CPU with 4 threads is available since 2006, affordable since 2008.
CPU to support 8 threads is here since 2008?
64bit CPUs are here since 2000-2001?
Windows to properly support multithreading is here since 2000.
Windows to properly support 64 bit apps is here since 2006, maybe even earlier (properly means at least Vista x64 with SP2, Win7 x64 ... else you can include Win XP x64).
GCN graphics are here since january 2012, Mantle was revealed about 6 months ago...
