Voltage Question in Different Stress Tests

Okay, so I've been thinking about this for awhile but I finally decided to post this as I still can't quite understand what is going on.

I have my 2500K overclocked to 4.5GHz with an offset voltage of -0.075. During normal use such as heavy gaming and everything else, the max voltage displayed by HWiNFO64 is 1.296v. If I run Intel Burn Test, the max I see is still 1.296v although I think I may have seen it hit 1.304v one time with IBT. Now is where things get strange. If I run Prime95, the voltage hits a max of 1.312v and I even saw it hit 1.320v once. It sorta jumps between 1.288-1.312v during the tests. In the past, IBT would always give me the highest voltage. Why am I getting a much higher voltage reading when running Prime95 than anything else?
