I have already disabled, uninstalled, and re-installed the GPU. I've already reset the motherboard and reformatted the hard drive. This is a brand new build.

Having installed the latest NVIDIA GTX760 driver, I'm prompted to reboot. Having done so, the Windows logo runs through its animation like it's supposed to, and disappears leaving the screen black but not off. After this, the only way to use the computer is in safe mode.

If you have anything that could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Are all of your windows updates and hardware drivers (mobo etc) current? Did you do a clean install with the new drivers? Assuming this, have you updated the BIOS?

You can try uninstalling the drivers and let Win7 install the Win7 default drivers to see if you can at least get your signal back in normal mode.

Delete C:\Nvidia and then go to your Control Panel and uninstall the Nvidia drivers, reboot and let Windows install the default drivers and see what happens.
