While gaming is a strong point for Razer on the other hand, music and movies are not. Comparing Kraken Forged edition with SteelSeries and Logitech is pointless since their headsets do not fall in the $300 category. Kraken Forged edition’s competition is Sennheiser, Pioneer, V-moda, Beyerdynamic etc. And to get on par with such companies, Razer has some serious work to do. Audiophiles are very picky about their hardware and everything needs to sync perfectly when it comes to music. Kraken Forged edition produces great sound during music playback but the lack of consistency disrupts the balance.
These are obviously not worth $300 but Razer is going in the right direction.
