Is my setup ok? 4.2ghz I7 960

Hey guys. So I'm attempting to OC, I have in the past at stock voltage at around 3.4 but I'd like something more substantial. 4.1 to 4.2 or more if you guys think I can handle it. I'm currently able to run my oc with about 65c load on Prime 95. I had some graphical artifacts after a few hours but I believe this was due to a bad GPU - it was a recent purchase (open box from Microcenter, no less) so I exchanged it for a new one and everything seems great. It does make me nervous though, so I've taken some pictures of my bios setup. Are my numbers ok?

My specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 960 CPU
Mobo: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
GPU: GTX 960
Ram: XMS3 — 6GB Triple Channel DDR3 Memory Kit, 1600MHz, 8-8-8-24, 1.65V
PSU: Corsair 650W

if it posts, and your temps are ok then you have nothing to be worried about.. temp is the killer!! don't touch voltages until you run into stability issues.

slowly increase youre clocks one by one and boot every time to check stability until u hit a wall. once there you can try loosening up ram timings and funk with voltage.. carefully

holly crap.. are you from the future?? a gtx 960!!!!! .. I have so many questions. is milley cyrus still a pig?? and who started wwIII??? who one?.. lol..

Typo! Typo! I know it's a 760 haha.

How are you cooling it? 1.4v is going to put out some heat.

H100i. Brought it down to 1.38 (or the closest option, forget the amount). Seems to be running fine. My problem seems to be the ram, google says this specific mobo has issues with XMP, which explains a lot.

wow.. didn't notice the 1.4 v... thought u hadent touched it yet.. leave it on auto or stock until u need to touch it... don't just jack up the voltage cuz u think its gonna need it... until it does. and even after don't go to far if u plan on keeping that cpu for a while..

I wouldn't say to leave it on auto, but I don't think he should have jumped straight from stock voltage to 1.4. Maybe from stock to 1.3 and tweaked it up or down from there. He should be able to shave some off of that 1.4 though.

I didn't automatically bring it to 1.4, I started a bit above stock. I got a BSOD at 1.38 and I read that the solution to the error code was to increase the vcore. Isn't 1.4 within acceptable voltage ratings for the i7 960? Especially when it's being cooled well and only reaching 65c at load?

If my vcore isn't the problem, what would be causing the "a clock interrupt was not recieved on a secondary processor" BSOD? STOP 0X00000101. I've brought my vcore back down to 1.375 and it passes Prime95 but passing Prime95 hasn't seemed to indicate when I have errors. Any help guys?

Back when i had my RIIIE and Xeon at 4.5Ghz these were my bios settings

Cpu Vcore - 1.35v
CPU PLL - 1.88v
Ioh - 1.35v
ioh pcie - 1.35v
ich - 1.35v
