I see its overclocked a bit....can you get your overclock a bit higher for it and also do you have ht on or off?
It's a brand new card, I would prefer not to play with overclocking for now. The card is a Zotac GTX770 AMP! Edition, which is already somewhat oc'ed. Also I tried Kombustor last night, temps got around 83°C, which is high (but I checked the max temp for the card, and it's 95°C, so I guess it's ok).

Oh! HT is on and I need it since I encode alot (and gaining almost 25% performance on that field!). As for overclocking more, I can't seem to find the right settings for a stable overclock, I get bsods from copying others with the SAME cpu/mobo combo. But even if I could push to 4GHz, it's not like I would gain 5fps with it hehe.

Stability is never guaranteed when copying settings from someone else, even if their entire system is perfectly identical. Each CPU is different. Every motherboard is different. Every memory stick is different. Etc., etc., etc.

Ok, did some tests about the performance gain: last night I was pulling an abysmal ~22fps, today I'm pulling ~34fps and that's with details set at high (higher than the one used last night). So indeed it was the drivers I had to reinstall!

Now it's just sad my cpu can't help more than that. I do video capture for my guild, anything below 60fps is just that... sad.

Just remember: any time you install a new video card, reinstall the drivers.

I as well upgraded from an Nvidia GTX 570 HD to a msi 770. Even upped my 600 psu to a 750 watt & did an SSD & clean install of Windows 7. Spent all that money & all my games still exactly run the same.
Scored:
Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0
FPS:
75.5
Score:
1902
Min FPS:
17.0
Max FPS:
162.4

I ran the Msi gaming app in OC mode and scored:
Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0
FPS:
75.4
Score:
1900
Min FPS:
15.9
Max FPS:
167.5

I assume I'm bottle-necking with my i5-3330

yes you probably are with that cpu, but wow only uses two cores if I remember correctly? I played with my system on ultra etc 1440p, sitting there doing nothing i would get like 30-45 fps with large amounts of peopleand in raids usually about 100+ fps.

WOW is oldschool still runs ON DX9 i think

They are now offering between DirectX 9 and 11. Kinda strange, hard to beleive they have 2 complete engines inside it.

I thought that Crysis 2 started out in DirectX 9 and went to 11 too.
