[Build Log] Blue Joker - Watercooled Prodigy

Well I've lurked these forums for quite some time and I think it's about time that I contribute something. I've had many systems in the past but they were always just thrown together willy nilly without much effort for aesthetics of tidyness of any sort. I've decided it's time that I finally make a system the way I want to. So here in lies my vision, a mini-itx build with the works, water cooling, sleeving and overall putting 100% into the aesthetics. Parts list is below.

The Guts:

Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-I R2
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB - Blue
PSU: Silverstone Strider 550W Gold
GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 760 2GB
HDD: Western Digital 750GB Black 2.5"
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB

Cooling:

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy - Blue
Pump/Reservoir: Swiftech MCP35x PWM + EK DDC Pump Housing + EK DDC X-RES Top 140
Radiator: EK Coolstream PE 240 + EK Coolstream PE 120
Fans: Sycthe Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM
Tubing: TBD (I have both acrylic and Masterkleer 3/8 1/2 Tubing)
Fittings: All Bitspower Shining Silver (Haven't yet decided whether to go acrylic or tubing as of yet, I have the resources for both so I may try each and see what I like best)
CPU Block: EK Supremacy (Already have a CSQ Nickel + Acetal Block, tossing up whether to get an acrylic one)
GPU Block: EK FC 670 Acrylic CSQ

Other Stuff:

MDPC: Shade 19 small and SATA sleeve, B-Magic small sleeve, Aquamarine-Blue MKII small sleeve, Anthracite heatshrink (small and SATA), MDPC M3 Screws 6mm and 30mm, Brainwashers, MDPC Mounting.

In other words, whatever MDPC has on offer, I took.

A couple of ideas I've been throwing around are to use regular hose tubing and sleeve it, I quite like the look of it but I still haven't decided whether to go with that or acrylic. If you hadn't already noticed the colour scheme it blue, grey and black (silver fittings thrown in there too). I know that going with an 1155 system probably isn't the most ideal for today but I was able to get quite a good deal on the motherboard and CPU (albeit a cheap motherboard, it'll do the job).

The Build will probably be a bit slow going at first as I gather the parts, I do have the majority right now, just waiting on the cooling products (all have been shipped) as well as the CPU, GPU and RAM. They should be in within the next 2 weeks. This will be a learning experience for me so please throw in your 2 cents wherever you feel necessary.

Installed the motherboard today, took a few pictures. I should have the CPU sometime early next week and then the GPU and RAM later on. Still waiting for all my water cooling gear to come in, should be any day now. Also ordered a second batch of MDPC products last night so that should be coming in sometime next week. Look for the pictures and updates to be rolling in around then.

Subbed not just because it uses a Prodigy case, but a blue one at that!
