Well if bf4 is your thing you might want to try getting a 4770k maximus vi hero motherboard and one 780ti for now, then decide if you want to add a second 780ti later.

If I remember right BF4 is very CPU heavy.

Just wondering if my current rig with new video cards would be perfect. I hate the driver support on the 6990 and the inability to upgrade the drivers without error. I am at my end with ATI/AMD to be honest ha.

In your situation I would get a 4770k cpu and a 780to classified, well actually I'm stupid with my money so I'd probably end up going straight for a 4930k and two classifieds even though it's major overkill for gaming...*hides Sig rig*

Now if I could find benchmarks of the i7 920 @ 4ghz running BF 4 multiplayer, id be in business. I dont want to go buying an entire new system if I don't need to, regardless of the CPU age smile.gif My guess is that even with the OC, I will end up having to. Multiplayer is much harder on the CPU id assume.

I don't play BF4 so I can't be too specific about the game. My guess is try it out and if you get a bottle neck then you'll just have a week with a bottle-necked computer. tongue.gif

I found this:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-4-graphics-card-performance,3634-10.html

Where would the i7 920 fall in that list? I might not even need to upgrade honestly, if it fits somewhere in there.

Has it been confirmed that there will be a 790? I mean I know its been talked about and I've seen some "leaked specs", but I haven't heard it mentioned in a couple months...and since that time I've seen talk of the 800 series.
