Picture comparisons never do a justice for the argument.

As much as I want to be excited about this, I can't help but be reminded of the miserable outcome that is Colonial Marines, and the latest trickles from what appears to be the "consumer" version of Watch Dogs.

I'm really not liking this switch-n-bait techniques publishers are using these days to sell their IP where they show these elaborate CG clips on rails, get us all excited about "ohhh! next gen.. so awesome looking.. great new engine!" grab as much pre-orders as they can, then only to be disappointed with a half-assed product that's downgraded and watered down.

By the time the Division hits, it'll either

A. We'll be too accustomed to the graphics by then
B. The graphics will fail to meet what they've shown already.

This seems to happen a lot....

Step 1, show amazing looking visuals...Step 2, release far into the future where it ends up looking relatively average

That said i thoroughly enjoyed FC3 but i didn't have any problems with it. I know for some it just wouldn't run. But yeah FC3, WatchDogs, etc. Ubisoft hasn't given us any reason to believe The Division will turn out like what we're seeing. Just fuel for the hype train is all. Don't get me wrong i'm excited about this game but i'm not getting my hopes up.

I didn't know this. I haven't played single player. Just multiplayer.

I never play single player games for some reason lol.

When I saw points come up for every action (shooting, healing, etc.) ...

The quality and innovation in games from large publishers is just so stagnant these days ... I never see anything very interesting coming from them.

Can someone explain to me what is exciting about this game, and why it would be "one of the most anticipated games" coming out?

Have you seen the graphics?

Another very exciting thing about this game is the air support you can do using a tablet. You don't even need to be at home in front of your PC to play!

I'm still reserving judgment on that until I see how it actually works.
