Thread Starter
Is this normal or too hot? On Evga Gtx 780 SC ACX i am reaching 80C when playing Crysis 3, FAR CRY 3.
Max gpu boost is 1110mhz.

I have case Cooler Master 590. On the same case my Asus 780 DirectCuII reaching 72C.

let me guess, the evga acx is the top card?

My first guess would be that you're not getting enough airflow. Do you only have the 120mm fans that came with your case?

Also, try removing your side-panel to see if your temps decrease. smile.gif

I know, but since you have an ACX cooler, it dumps heat back into the case, rather than blowing it out the back.

EDIT: Thought your last post was to me.

Its within spec, but If I were you, then I'd be more comfortable at 70°C.

Take off the side panel and monitor temps again.

Create a custom fan profile in MSI Afterburner. 55-60% should help a lot
